This week will be the appointment with my new gynecologist. I am going to try hard not to download everything into her since I know it upset my previous doctor. The only real important fact is that she knows my gynecological history and the hematologic problems. Being able to communicate the current process to new doctors is something that aggravates me.
I'm scared the same will happen at the rheumatologist which is part of the reason I have not scheduled her yet. Three doctors is my maximum for appointments per month. Then again you shouldn't have to see a gyno that often. I tend to make an exception for my hematologist because half the appointments are just blood draws. Speaking of blood draws my sheet long list of orders I took to St. Johns. Unfortunately I had to full register this time to use the outpatient lab. I found that a bit off putting. Even worse was that I was still a difficult draw. The tech used a large needle and still had to reposition it. Of course it was the same usual vein on the outside of my arm and more than 3vials is unusual which I had at least six.
Tonight or this morning I am up with full body joint pain. I rather knew it was coming after having to stay awake almost 24 hours as the partner changed his work schedule. Yesterday I had swollen extremities with the same odd yellow tinge I get when my lymphatic fluid is high. I gather its something related to the gout causing agent I have. Gout I do not think however is the right diagnosis.
I found myself looking at the criteria for Lupus SLE again. It is such a close match to my symptom set. Then again I have high school friends that are sick too. Just like dealing with family I tend to imagine we must all have individual illnesses. MS is already spoken for as is water on the brain, pseudo tumor, and what might be lupus. I haven't really ever got a answer on whether lupus normally causes wasting syndrome...excessive weight loss. I might imagine that friend could have MD instead.
I just want a face to this disease process so I can really battle it. I don't know any of its weak points but it is learning mine easily. I imagine that since this is a off year I will have a shorter attack sometime near my birthday. I already had one day of vertigo which thank heavens passed. Its been a few months since my last dystonic fit at least.
