One of those nights where you are stuck in sleep limbo due to a nap, rage and worry. Though I guess worry could cover the rage too as an ATM'S ate my deposit and I have to rely on social graces to get it back in a few hours. The nap is thanks to another failed attempt to see my eye specialist. The office left the hospital network so they require a specific refferal now even though I am a established patient.
It's up to the insurance at this point though I think my primary care office didn't file the request on time. I hate when they bog down my access with thier busyness but I also don't know that I could trust another PCP to behave with so many specialists.
I had a severe reaction to Inafed this treatment cycle for my hematologist. Lots of steroid shots after the anaphylaxis stopped and so did the shock. I fit all the criteria for known rejection cases recorded thus far by the NIH. The insurance was kind enough to approve the previous low cost Iron product which had worked, Feraheme.
Yet I was already showing changes to my disease cycle. Fever and fatigue but also a reapperance of my skin problem spongiotic variety which doesn't respond to medicines. It hasn't taken hold yet at least. My eye on the otherhand is a problem. It been consistent for near three months now and hasn't responded to antibiotic drops. From research I am fairly certain it is anterior uveitis but a doctor might know if it's something less common.
For example Fuch's based retinitis causes the iris to lose color which happened during my last eye event. Half the iris disc went dark grey. But that is just a curiosity since according to my father Fuch's is in our genetics. No discharge, length, light sensitivity, and no spread to second eye would seem to rule out viral conjunctivitis. Bacterial would have responded to the antibiotic drops.
So I fight the good fight trying to get my paperwork in order meanwhile my asymmetrical eye pressure could mean I am pre-glaucoma. I figured I might go legally blind but the process speeding up faster than my sister is frightening. I assumed I would have her timetable.
